NGO: Food for Life Program
The 'Food for Life' program by ISKCON Dwarka is a lifeline for children. Needy and helpless children receive sufficient food. Over 7 crore people in Delhi and surrounding areas have benefited so far. Food support for children is possible through social assistance.

The ‘Food for Life’ program by ISKCON Dwarka has consistently distributed meals for five years. The goal is to ensure that no one goes hungry and that they receive food offered to Lord Krishna. The managers of this department mention that most people need to learn the purpose of offering food and be made aware of its sanctity. While they perform rituals like yajnas to please various deities to fulfill their desires, the Bhagavad Gita states, “The enjoyer of sacrifice is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.”
Thus, the main purpose of all sacrifices is to please the Supreme Lord. When these sacrifices are performed properly, various officials and deities become pleased, and there is no shortage of natural resources. We are worshiping Lord Vishnu as the primary enjoyer instead of specific deities. Through this yajna, after enjoying the offering, the food items become pure, and by consuming pure food, a person’s life becomes pure. Therefore, we are trying to imbue those who, for various reasons, are deprived with a Krishna-conscious attitude, which is essential for today’s society.

The President of ISKCON Dwarka, Pradyuman Priya Das, says that inspired by the guidance of ISKCON GBGC and Bibitee Trustee Shri Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, we are committed to this service for human welfare. The founder of ISKCON, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, also had the same goal: wherever ISKCON is present in a city, within a radius of ten kilometers, no one should go hungry. Our endeavor is that this service of delivering food to people in need will continue for years to come. For this cause, all help and assistance from all Lord Krishna followers is expected.
